Dai Gribble fished a Staffordshire stillwater for just a few hours this week, bagging himself five beautiful pike on simple lure tactics.

Using his trusty 8'6" Speed Spin Rod, Dai changed between Double Hard Korum Lures, Korum Drones and his trusty Copper Spoons.

"We were testing a few new Korum items, but for the most part products from the existing range produced the goods," Dai explains. "I really enjoy a few hours casting lures around for pike. It's fantastic sport at this time of year."

Dai used 30lb braid to a Titanium Trace to ensure every pike he hooked made it to the net!

This successful pike trip following a recent trip to pike Mecca 'Chew' Reservoir, where Dai landed a much mightier specimen on Deadbaiting tactics:

"After producing loads of fish earlier in the week it was almost inevitable things would slow down, but thankfully with under an hour to go the float disappeared resulting in a 24lb 8oz Chew pike!"
